United Way of Daviess County Names GPC Top Campaign Supporter
WASHINGTON, Indiana (June 5, 2023) – Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), a KENT Corporation family business, has been a long-time partner to United Way of Daviess County in Washington, Indiana, and last month the GPC Washington team was recognized as the top donor in the county.
GPC Washington employees generously contributed $24,500 to the United Way Campaign in 2022 and KENT Corporation matched 100% of the proceeds to bring GPC’s total campaign gift to $49,000, the largest donation to the local non-profit.
In addition to financial support, earlier this year, 31 GPC employees volunteered their time for the Daviess County United Way Day of Caring. GPC was a Gold Sponsor of the annual event, during which supporters come together to work on and fix up areas of the community in order to make a positive impact.
